On May 15, 16 and 17, the Clear Choice Water Group, Water-Right’s professional level dealer network, held its second dealer convention in Orlando, FL at the fabulous Caribe Royale Hotel and Resort. The event was attended primarily by dealers and their business associates, representing just about every state in the nation. The theme for this convention was Strength in Unity. Dealers and guests were quick to take advantage of educational breakout sessions and main-stage presentations, where product technology and marketing strategy centered on the professional level dealer channel’s two product brands: Evolve and WaterCare. Additional functions held throughout the course of the three-day convention offered numerous opportunities for dealers and their guests to socialize and network.
Best-selling Wall Street Journal author Jon Gordon gave the convention’s keynote address. A renowned author and speaker, his books have inspired audiences and readers all over the world. Gordon’s principles have been put to the test by NFL, NBA and MLB coaches and teams, Fortune 500 companies, non-profits and many others, with a large measure of success. (His latest book, The Carpenter, has been getting rave reviews.) Gordon’s address, Five Ways to Stand Out and Grow your Business, was an uplifting and thought-provoking presentation. Suffice it to say, he knocked the ball out of the park and set both the stage and pace for the balance of the convention.
On Friday evening, everyone was welcome to attend the gala awards banquet. It was the Clear Choice Water Group’s privilege to pay tribute to some top producers who, over the course of the previous year, made their mark by earning the company’s Top Gun dealer award for most purchases made from the factory. Top-level recognition was bestowed on three dealers: Sam Baron and Danielle Maher-Baron (Maher Water, Stevens Point, WI); Rob Commers (Commers The Water Company, Blaine, MN) and Phil Rhodes, Jr. (Futuramic’s Clean Water Center, Omaha, NE). Other dealers receiving recognition included: Brad Haskin (Advanced Water Treatment, Howell, MI); Vince Kent (Abendroth Water, Ft. Atkinson, WI); Bill, Bonnie and Ken Gibson (Gibson’s WaterCare, Eau Claire, WI); Terry Swain (Capital Well Clean Water Center, Dunbarton, NH) and Kevin Kaserman (Dunbar Water, Wells, ME).
Of the 11 Clear Choice Water Group dealers who had reached the Top Gun milestone, nine were in attendance to receive their five-year service award in recognition of their support and contribution to the professional-level dealer network. Dealerships present to accept their award included: Abendroth Water; Capital Well Center Water Center; Dunbar Water; Futuramic’s Clean Water Center; Commers The Water Company; All Clear Water Services (Leigh Acres, FL); Knueve & Sons (Kalida, OH); Miller & Sons (Lancaster, PA) and Water Doctor Plus (Warrensburg, MO).
In the words of Water-Right President Kurt Gruett: “Everyone had a great time and we’re confident that everybody attending left with a better understanding of our future direction as a professional-level dealer network. We look forward to enjoying even greater success at our 2016 convention.” Needless to say, everyone had a great time. The event wrapped up Saturday morning with a Dealer Forum, chaired by members of the group’s Dealer Advisory Council. Dealers in attendance were encouraged to voice their opinions on the past, present and future direction of the network. As dealers have continued to show their unrivaled loyalty for the products and to the water treatment industry, Water-Right has made a commitment to provide guidance, support and opportunity to enhance and maintain its successful dealer program.
