Ajoint symposium was held by NOWRA and the WQA to present documentation and discuss the issues on water conditionings influence on the performance of on-site treatment systems. There are over 25 million on-site water treatment systems (septic systems) currently in use in the U.S. and it is reported that nearly 50 percent of all new homes have on-site treatment.
