The American Water Works Association offers a new DVD for training water treatment professionals and system operators on potable water mains. Water Main Disinfection and Decholorination demonstrates approved disinfection processes as described in AWWA Standard C651-05. The DVD package includes information on protecting water pipes during storage, transport and at the job site, as well as proper procedures for removing excess chlorine from the water supply prior to putting the pipe into service. The training DVD includes a corresponding workbook and discounts are available when purchased in conjunction with other AWWA training products.
