Purolite's new family of UltraClean(TM) resins for ultrapure water (UPW) production provides improved start-up and operating performance for regenerable and non-regenerable mixed-bed units. UPW-grade ion exchange resins are typically used in the final stage of the water treatment plants, which consist of filters; RO and/or other membrane systems; two-stage and final UPW mixed bed deionization. The resins show superior rinse downtimes for resistivity, silica (SiO2), boron (B), sodium (Na), trimethylamine (TMA) and TOC. www.purolite.com
