The new Sanitizer-Plus from Water Right, of Appleton, Wis., is highly effective in treating hard water with high amounts of iron bacteria and moderate amounts of hydrogen sulfide (<1.0 ppm). The “Plus” performance of the innovative system comes from a special media configuration using the silica-based Crystal-Right media, capable of softening and removing high amounts of iron and manganese, and a heavier Min-Plus media known for its ability to treat hydrogen sulfide and iron bacteria.
