Water Pik sold for $380 million
The U.S.-based Carlyle Group and French aerospace equipment company Zodiac have purchased Water Pik Technologies Inc. for $380 million. Water Pik,
a maker of pool products, shower systems, automatic toothbrushes and other systems, will be bought by Coast Acquisition Corp., which is 80 percent owned by Carlyle, 20 percent by Zodiac. The closure of the deal is pending shareholder
and regulatory approval and expected to finalize at the end of April,CNN reports.
