Monitoring salt levels

Sensors/Monitors/Controls/Instrumentation
Oxfordshire England

Operators of water softeners are aware of the problems caused when they run out of salt. This no longer needs to happen. Waterwise Technology Ltd., of Oxfordshire, England, has developed an electronic sensor to monitor the salt level in softener brine tanks and give immediate warning when levels run low. The units provide volt-free contacts for remote monitoring and BMS systems, and are easily installed on all makes of existing or new water softeners. Versions are also available to suit bulk salt saturators.
