Plast-O-Matic Valves Inc. offers a 0.5-inch (12.7 mm) palm- or foot-operated shut-off valve with no metals or external fasteners for high-purity or corrosive environments. The balanced, compact valves are designed for liquid service to 150 psi, allowing valve outlet pressure (commonly known as backpressure) to be as high as inlet pressure without affecting performance. The normally closed design has a spring return; it will automatically close when hand or foot force is removed.
