Pleated replacement filters |
Argonide Corporation introduces NanoCeram-DP(TM) high-performance pleated filter cartridges, specifically engineered and designed to address bio-contaminant issues in ultrapure water applications. These cartridges are capable of removing small particles (including colloidal iron and TOCs), bacteria, virus and endotoxins from water at high flow rates, using the principal of electrostatic attraction and adsorption. They are available in standard, powder activated carbon (PAC) and two hybrid filter versions, and will fit into most commercially available filter housings. All components are FDA-compliant and appropriate for food contact.

Argonide Corporation introduces NanoCeram-LR(TM) (NCLR) high-performance, pleated filter cartridges specifically engineered and designed to replace lenticular filters with a lower shipping weight per cartridge to help reduce shipping costs. Each filter holds less water, easing the filter replacement process for operators. Each cartridge contains the company's patented non-woven filter media matrix infused with nanoalumina fibers, creating an electropositively charged depth filter. They will fit into most commercially available lenticular housings. All filter components are FDA-compliant and appropriate for food contact.

SOE filter cartridges |
Argonide Corporation's NanoCeram-PACB high-performance activated carbon filters, like the original award winning NanoCeram®, are capable of removing small particles, bacteria and virus from water at high flow rates, using the principal of electrostatic attraction and adsorption. The new design incorporates the company's innovative powder-activated-carbon-infused filter media, pleated around a carbon block center core. These foul-resistant filters allow the carbon block to more fully utilize its total chlorine adsorption capacity as the media helps to prevent foulants from reaching carbon block surfaces.

Argonide Corporation offers a line of single, open-ended (SOE) electropositive water filter cartridges which incorporate the patented NanoCeram® filter media. They are manufactured into finished filter cartridges using 100 percent polypropylene materials and assembled using the latest thermal bonding equipment. Available with flat, fin or spring end caps with 222 or 226 double o-rings, the units are designed for use in most applications where absolute rated pleated filtration is needed with the added assurance of an absolute seal between cartridge and housing.

Filter housings |
Argonide Corporation introduces a high-performance water filter cartridge for use in industrial and other process waste streams. NanoCeram® removes small particles, bacteria and virus from water at high flow rates, using the principle of electrostatic attraction and adsorption. Laboratory tests with colloidal suspensions of various metals show pleated filter cartridges have an affinity for iron, copper, lead, tin, aluminum and chromium-III. They also show promise in field trials for iron reduction in chilled-water systems and aluminum reduction in aluminum extrusion.

Argonides custom-built stainless steel housings are now available in five sizes that hold multiple 4.5 x 20 (114.3 x 508 mm) Big Blue cartridge filters and attain peak flow rates greater than 1,300 gpm (4921.03 L/min) per housing, 836 gpm (3164.60 L/min) using nominal flow rates. Manufactured from high quality 304 or 316 SS, each housing is 150 psi-rated and uses clamp or swing-bolt closures. HBB-60 and HBB-120 models incorp-orate a three-inch (76.2 mm) flange; HBB-240 uses a four-inch (101.6 mm) flange. HBB-380 and HBB-760 feature standard six-inch (152.4 mm) flanges. Other inlet and/or outlet sizes can be supplied.

| Virus sampler cartridge |
|
High-speed filter |
Argonide Corporation introduces a new Virus Sampler Cartridge using their patented electropositive non-woven pleated filter media. Developed with the encouragement of the United States EPA, which would like to establish cost effective protocols, and to eventually require U.S. municipalities to sample for virus. A crucial component to meeting this goal is a low cost filter cartridge that would be an effective sampler - a cartridge that Argonide now offers for less than $25 each. Argonides P2.5-10 NanoCeram® Filter Cartridge (2.5 x 10) is equivalent in size to the current market leader, but is available for a small fraction of the price. |

Argonide Nanomaterials, an Orlando, Fla.-based manufacturer of nano-particles and nanofiltration products, announces a filter thatメs the first of its kind, capable of filtering the smallest of particles with ease. NanoCeram ultra-fast disposable filters retain 99.9999+ percent viruses at water flow rates several hundred times greater than virus-rated ultraporous membranes. Company research manager, Dr. Leonid Kaledin, said モthe filterメs unique performance is due to its nano-size alumina fiber.ヤ |
