 FNW" water hammer arrestors, distributed by Ferguson Enterprises, are engineered to provide maintenance-free continuous protection against water hammer (hydraulic shockwaves generated within a water distribution system due to a sudden stop in water flow). Manufactured in low-lead brass and suitable for residential or commercial potable water systems, the devices are available in 0.5- to two-inch (12.7-50.8 mm) male NPT ends or 0.5- to 1.125-inch (12.7 to 31.8 mm) copper sweat ends. IAPMO approved and ASSE 1010-2004 listed.
