Pump components Well pressure controller
Franklin Electric announces the release of SubDrive SolarPAK, a complete, one-box system solution that provides the pump components needed to build a solar-powered water well system. Designed specifically for pumping clean water using a renewable energy supply, it includes a solar-powered controller, a submersible pump and motor, and a flow switch, in ratings from five to 90 gpm (18.9 to 340.6 L/m). Using a solar PV array as the input power source, SubDrive SolarPAK is ideal for use in applications where traditional grid power is unavailable, unreliable or undesirable.

This is due to VFDs that provide the benefit of constant pressure and are easy to install. Now there’s a new twist in constant pressure technology. The MonoDrive from Franklin Electric, of Bluffton, Ind., is a constant pressure controller using variable frequency drive technology with a single-phase motor.
