 Purolite introduces a broad range of chromatographic resins to their already comprehensive ion exchange resin product line. Chromalite analytical separation resins, ranging in particle sizes from two to 150 microns, are designed for analytical and preparative process applications. Chromalite CGA and CGC anion and cation gel resins of different cross-linkages have particle-size ranges of 35 to 75, 75 to 150 and 150 to 300 microns. Chromalite PCG adsorbent resins of 35-, 75- and 120-micron diameters (with varying pore diameters) are available for pharmaceutical and fine chemical separations.

Purolite Corporation introduces its patented Purolite® CT275Ag catalyst, designed to remove iodides effectively in solvents, such as acetic acid. It will remove alkyl iodides below 50ºC (122°F), regardless of the size of the alkyl group. The product is manufactured with a proprietary process and comprises a synthetic polymer substrate impregnated with metal silver.
