Reserve Filter Systems introduces multi-use, high-flow, high-capacity carbon filtration systems designed for various applications, depending on the filter cartridges selected. The BBFS-1X22 housing assembly is designed so the first housing connects to the other two, piped in parallel, completely assembled with bracket sumps and caps. The system reduces chloramine, chlorine and other off-tastes and odors. It also reduces asbestos fibers and cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia when used with CBC-20BB cartridges. The housing system includes integral inlet and outlet pressure gauges for operation and 0.375-inch (9.525-mm) FNPT inlet and outlet connections and flush valves for installation. www.reservefilter.com, jhurley@reservefilter.com |

Reserve Filter Systems, of Twinsburg, Ohio, offers gradient density filter cartridges to fit BB housings. The melt-blown, microfiber filter cartridges are made from FDA compliant and NSF-certified materials. They’re manufactured using a microfiber process that thermally bonds pure polypropylene microfibers with lower density at the outside surface and progressively higher density toward the center. This results in a cartridge that provides high flow rates, high dirt-holding capacities and fewer filter change-outs. |
