 UV Pure is shipping its Version 1.41 operating system with all Upstream models and the Hallett 15xs. The software continues to monitor operating data of previous versions, but generates an alarm only when water safety may be an issue. The combined treatment alarm reduces occurrence of non-critical issues. System events are recorded for diagnostic purposes, as with previous versions. An added feature is the ability to silence the audible alarm (beeper) for 24, 48 hours, one week or turn it off permanently.

Every UV Pure Hallett" and Upstream" UV water purification system will be shipped with a Panamax M4-EX power conditioner. Tested with UV Pures 115-volt North American systems, the units provide protection against brownouts below 90 volts and transient voltage spikes of up to 6,000 volts and 3,000 amps. Systems simply restart normally when power stabilizes if exceptionally high or low power causes the conditioner to safely shut down power, without any need to manually reset or restart.  UV Pure Technologies has begun commercializing dramatically improved and significantly re-engineered UV systems. The patented Branded Cross-fire Technology" design incorporates an automatic self- cleaning device which keeps quartz from fouling as water flows inside the quartz sleeve. Lamps are mounted in air, inside optimized elliptical reflectors, which increase effectiveness by a factor of 2.3 versus conventional system design. Dual sensors measure UV intensity and net UV transmission through the water column, so an operator knows how effective the system is operating in real time.
