Also operates Deep Rock Water Company, selling bottled artesian and distilled water, selling and renting water coolers. Goal is to become a "Department Store for Water." University of Nebraska graduate, is considered an excellent businessman. Wife, Dorie, is vivacious, out-going, complementing his shy, somewhat reserved demeanor. has two daughters. These are three of many superlatives that apply to the new president of the Water Conditioning Association International. He's a Culligan dealer in Santa Cruz, California with a 24-year record of successful business operation. McCommon, long active in the Pacific Water Conditioning Association as a director, has served WCAI as a director, then vice president. He is a pilot and, as they will attest in Mexico and Hawaii, an expert fisherman. Usually accompanied by his vivacious wife, Midge, McCommon is a familiar visitor at virtually all industry functions.
