Biographies are available for:
From Water Conditioning Sales, November 1972: Congenial. Even-tempered. Astute. These are three of many superlatives that apply to the new president of the Water Conditioning Association International. He's a Culligan dealer in Santa Cruz, California with a 24-year record of successful business operation. McCommon, long active in the Pacific Water Conditioning Association as a director, has served WCAI as a director, then vice president. He is a pilot and, as they will attest in Mexico and Hawaii, an expert fisherman. Usually accompanied by his vivacious wife, Midge, McCommon is a familiar visitor at virtually all industry functions.
From Water Conditioning Magazine, December 1970, WCAI, 25th Anniversary: WCAI President, 1968, 1969. Culligan Water Conditioning, Marlette, Michigan. At 36, he was the youngest president. Educated (BA from Carleton College, MS from Syracuse), he married the daughter of a water conditioning dealer and not too long thereafter bought his present business. Helped organize the Michigan Water Conditioning Association. Married, with three youngsters, he's a 'questioner', probing all sides of a problem. Lanky, conservative, accustomed to leadership roles.
