Even-tempered, perceptive, regarded as a "doer". Was executive vice president and general manager of a 32-store dry goods retail chain in the Southwest before entering water industry. Flew P-38 fighter in World War II, now has Piper Comanche. Was president of PWCA and recently fought successful tax battle with the state of California. Married, with two boys. Looks, acts, is distinguished gentleman.
