Biography of G Keith Funk

From Water Conditioning Magazine, December 1970, WCAI, 25th Anniversary: WCAI President, 1956, 1957. Culligan Water Conditioning, Eagleville, Pa. Owner of several dealerships on the Philadelphia Mainline; considered one of nation's largest water conditioning retail operations. Pettit Award, winner for work as chairman of 1965 International Water Quality Symposium that featured Robert Kennedy and a multitude of government, industry figures. Symposium was in large part his conception. WQRC director since 1963. Has, mostly behind the scenes, conditioned much of the industry's thinking regarding the future. Married to Ann, with four children. Son, Buzz, active in business. Instrument-rated as a pilot, flies his own Beechcraft aircraft. Meek appearance hides gutsy determination, remarkable insight.
